Gidy: part designer, part DJ, part writer, with a touch of ‘90s nostalgia.
He loves pop colours, cooking with friends, and playing music at full volume.
In the heart of Dergano, his apartment captures this identity through bold colour contrasts and design choices that blend irony with character.
Upon entering, the living area reveals itself as the vibrant centre of the home. A sliding glass partition connects the kitchen and living room, creating an interplay of perspectives and reflections.
The kitchen, with its canary-yellow cabinets, terracotta-red floor and forest-green countertop, offers a lively balance of colours that draws the eye and visually expands the space without becoming overwhelming. The glass partition keeps the rooms distinct while ensuring visual and luminous continuity.
The living room has a warm, slightly retro feel: vinyl records, books and warm-toned parquet flooring create a welcoming space. Wall-mounted bookshelves and a central round table reinforce the room’s social.
In the bedroom, neutral tones prevail, warmed by a bold red lacquered wooden boiserie that defines the space. Powder-blue details add an elegant, light touch, creating an intimate and personal atmosphere.
The tour ends in the bathroom, where floor tiles form a geometric rug in shades of burgundy, yellow and blue. Lamps, hooks and pop details complete the space.
An apartment that, as a whole, reflects its owner’s personality: introspective yet colourful, bold yet authentic.
